MEET DR. PETER A. ZAHOS
Board-certified neurosurgeon, New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor and founder of Level One Neurosurgery in Paramus, NJ, with more than 30 years of experience and more than 2,000 cases completed.
Peter A. Zahos, MD, FAANS, FACS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon who has treated complex spine and cranial conditions for more than three decades. He has cared for more than 1,000 patients and completed more than 2,000 cases, and he is a New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor.
Patients often describe him as calm, clear and honest, even with a hard diagnosis. He takes time to explain your MRI and your options, and recommends surgery only when you need it. His philosophy:

Dr. Zahos earned his Bachelor of Arts at Yale University and his medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical internship, neurosurgery residency and chief residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center.
He then completed an observational fellowship in Functional Neurosurgery and Stereotactic Radiosurgery at UCLA, adding advanced surgical technology to his training.

His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international neurosurgical conferences.
